A flight in October

In early October, I was 3 and a half months pregnant. I asked Jonathan to take me flying so I could see the leaves as they were beginning to change color. October is my favorite month of the year in Virginia.
I was starting to show a little.

IT'S A BOY!!!!

This was the first picture that the technician showed us. You can see his two legs, then a little something in the middle - our boy is definitely not shy! Here is a profile picture. His nose is at the top. The top of his head is on the left and his chin and shoulders are on the right of the picture.

Big yawn!

This is a shot of his face straight on. you can see a little bit of his left hand at the top. So, who does he look more like?

This was a 3-D picture they took of him - he looks a little scary if you ask me, but his little hands and fingers sure are cute!

Before we went back to work after the doctor's appointment, Jonathan and I went to Babies R Us and bought the fist thing for the baby - of course, clothes!

This little 6/9 month outfit just hit the spot and will be perfect for our baby bear next fall.

My New Closet

Jonathan was once again, a wonderful husband and built me a whole new master closet system before we picked up Marley. He did an amazing job - I have a whole wall dedicated just for my shoes - it's great!!!

I Can't Believe There Are Two Lines!

In August I was one day late, so thought I should take a pregnancy test. Wouldn't you know it, two lines appeared! I really couldn't believe it and needed Jonathan to confirm that it did look like the test was in fact positive (both tests...I had to take a second one just to be sure). A couple of weeks later, Jonathan's Aunt Debbie and two cousins were in town. We had dinner with them in Old Town Alexandria, but first, snapped the first shot of me pregnant.

Meet Marley Lindley

November 6, 2008, we flew up to New York to pick up our new Vizsla puppy, Marley. She weighted 9 pounds, 12 ounces and at first appeared to be quite calm. However, when we got her outside with two of her siblings, we quickly found that she was the "livliest" of the bunch, running around, jumping on them and playing like crazy. Jonathan and I realized that we will definatley have a lot on our hands. But, in typically Jonathan and Jodi style, we wouldn't be having any fun if we weren't challeneged...at least a little.

Lindley House

We've just launched our first blog and we're looking forward to posting photos, adding comments and keeping you up to date on our lives in Northern Virginia.

Today is the first blog - we're heading out the door to find out if our baby is a boy or a girl. We're both really excited and can't wait. A chinese website that a friend sent me two a month or two ago told me I was having a girl. Then, a pilot friend of Jonathan's told me I was having a boy and guessed my due date within 2 days. So, one of them is clearly going to be correct - we'll just have to see who!
