Meeting Santa

Early in December, we thought it was time for Wyatt to meet Santa. We started out by having him meet the Chick-fil-a cow dressed as Santa...that went OK.

Next, it was time for the big guy. To my surprise, Santa was hanging out in the food court, so I thought we'd check to see how Wyatt reacted to Santa before we got our formal pictures. Drum roll......... he wasn't real thrilled.

But, I would not be discouraged, so decided we'd still try the formal pictures on Santa's lap. Luckily, those ended up turning out really well. I couldn't decide if I wanted Wyatt to have the hat on or not, so we took pictures both ways. Isn't he a cutie pie!

Not sure what he asked Santa for, but Wyatt's been a good boy this year, so I'm sure he'll get what he asked for. :)

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving morning, Wyatt and daddy picked up a paper and started checking out the coupons. Lots of good deals to be had come Friday morning!

A co-worker of mine invited us to their home for dinner. We had a WONDERFUL time with them, great food, great company, and more great food.

They have a 16 month old that Wyatt loved playing with.

My co-worker's husband gave their son a lemon for the first time. To all of our surprise, he really liked it!

November Smiles

November was a great month for Wyatt. He's really mastering sitting up, he cut two teeth, started to crawl, and he got his first car. Here are some highlights!

Wyatt's First Halloween

For his first Halloween, Wyatt dressed up as a little pumpkin. We thought it appropriate since his latest trick is sitting up on his own...and that's just about all pumpkins do.

Marley wanted to match Wyatt this year, so she dressed up as a pumpkin too...although she was a bit of an skinny pumpkin.

Daddy dressed up as his alter ego, Tex, the ranch hand from Montana.

I was starting to feel the Christmas spirit, so dressed as Rudolf the red nosed reindeer.

At the end of the night, while we waited for any of the last trick-or-treaters, Wyatt decided it was time to check out the candy bowl. He loved picking up the wrappers and dumping them out...little does he know what yummy candies are inside of those wrappers!

Milestones

Here are a few more weekly photos. I'm finding it harder and harder to take these pictures because Wyatt wants to destroy and eat the signs...

Wyatt test driving a walker...he looks right at home.
