Cherry Blossoms 2010

Last year at this time, Jonathan took me for a walk around the Tidal Basin in the hopes of getting me to go into labor...no luck, we were only successful in inducing false labor. But, this year, we have our little boy with us and we all enjoyed the beautiful flowers - despite some chilly temperatures.

An Evening with Friends

Our dear friends Tri, Michelle, Zachary, and Emily came over for dinner a few weeks ago - I just never got around to getting these pictures posted. Wyatt's First Flight in N529JK

Now that Wyatt's ears are all better, we thought it was time to take him up in N529JK. We wanted to start getting him used to it, so just did a few traffic patterns around the Stafford airport.

Wyatt had a good time, but wasn't sure what to think about the earmuffs.

However, Wyatt had a ball crawling around the hanger. I think Wyatt's found his new "man spot".

Night on the Town

Our dear friends Will and Stacey are heading out west, so of course we had to go out to dinner to celebrate. Will and Stacey, it has been such an honor to be a part of your lives and to have seen your relationship grow in to the strong loving partnership, centered around God's leading in your lives. You two are such a source of encouragement, inspiration, and laughter. I love you more than I can say!

11 Months Old

Wyatt turned 11 months old on March 9. The evening didn't start out real happy...

Look at those big tears - pour little man, it's hard to be 11 months old

but dinner came and the evening was starting to turn around for the better.

Then, as so many evenings do, this evening ended with a bath and life was so much better!

Fun Weekend with Friends

Last weekend we had a ball hanging out with our friends Will, Stacey, Bailey, and Kelsee! We laughed, played, ate really well, and laughed some more.

Marley managed to find one of the few snow patches still left in their yard and was getting so hot running around, that she'd flop on the snow pile after retreiving the ball each time. So hillarious!

Growing Like Crazy

It was great to come home. Wyatt is growing like a weed. He gained a pound in a week after he got out of the hospital. He's getting really fast, crawling on all fours, playing with Marley, and pulling himself up to stand anytime he can.

But, after all that activity, he still needs to catch some Z's when he rides around in the car.
