Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving morning, Wyatt and daddy picked up a paper and started checking out the coupons. Lots of good deals to be had come Friday morning!

A co-worker of mine invited us to their home for dinner. We had a WONDERFUL time with them, great food, great company, and more great food.

They have a 16 month old that Wyatt loved playing with.

My co-worker's husband gave their son a lemon for the first time. To all of our surprise, he really liked it!

November Smiles

November was a great month for Wyatt. He's really mastering sitting up, he cut two teeth, started to crawl, and he got his first car. Here are some highlights!

Wyatt's First Halloween

For his first Halloween, Wyatt dressed up as a little pumpkin. We thought it appropriate since his latest trick is sitting up on his own...and that's just about all pumpkins do.

Marley wanted to match Wyatt this year, so she dressed up as a pumpkin too...although she was a bit of an skinny pumpkin.

Daddy dressed up as his alter ego, Tex, the ranch hand from Montana.

I was starting to feel the Christmas spirit, so dressed as Rudolf the red nosed reindeer.

At the end of the night, while we waited for any of the last trick-or-treaters, Wyatt decided it was time to check out the candy bowl. He loved picking up the wrappers and dumping them out...little does he know what yummy candies are inside of those wrappers!

Milestones

Here are a few more weekly photos. I'm finding it harder and harder to take these pictures because Wyatt wants to destroy and eat the signs...

Wyatt test driving a walker...he looks right at home.

Photography by Journeys

Unfortunatley, I have learned only enough about how to blog to post pictures and movies. So, I don't have any cool links on my blog - but if I could, I would have a link for my friend, Stacey's photogrphy website and blog. Yesterday Stacey took our family pictures and she's already posted a few of them on her blog. So, if you want to see some great family shots, go to http://www.dogindogout.blogspot.com/. She has a link to her professional web site from there so feel free to take a look at more of Stacey's work.

The only member of the family not included in the pictures is Sampson... he's not the most cooperative, so we left him at home.

Stacey, you did an amazing job! I am astounded that you were able to get Wyatt to smile and Marley to stay in place while we snapped pictures. Thank you so much!!!

Sitting Up On His Own!

The books I've been reading were telling me that any day now, Wyatt would could be sitting up on his own. So, I figured it was time that I tried it again. I set some stacking cups in front of him for the first time and let him go. To my surprise, he stayed up! Just one more milestone accomplished - thousands more to go. I am so thankful to God that we have such a healthy, happy baby boy. I know we are abundantly blessed don't take it for granted for one minute.

Tucson - Take Two

My sister-in-law Lori sent me some pictures that she had taken of our trip to Tucson. Since we both have the exact same camera, the higher quality photos can only be explained by the fact that she is by far a superior photographer to me.

Wyatt's first time in a walker - he loved it and got around great!

Lori, thank you for sharing these pictures.
We had such a good time with you and can't wait to see you again!

Big Smile

Wyatt has the cutest smile and will smile or laugh with just a little encouragement. I just had to show off some of his most recent smiles. :o)

OK, so in this picture Wyatt wasn't smiling, he was about to take a nap. But, considering we were on a plane, the fact that he wasn't crying was more than I could have ased for. God blessed us and gave us the entire row to ourselves for this leg of the trip, so Wyatt ended up being able to sleep almost the whole way. Yeah!!!

Trip to Tucson

We took at trip to Tucson, Arizona so Wyatt could meet his Uncle Jason, Aunt Lori, cousin Luke (3 years old) and cousin Julia (8 weeks old). We had a WONDERFUL time!

Wyatt and Luke had a great time playing together.

Because it was still pretty hot in Tucson, we took our walks in the local malls. Well...we just couldn't pass up getting a Santa hat for Wyatt. Isn't he adorable!!!
